EMDR or OEI

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Observational Experiential Integration (OEI) are two modalities that can help process trauma and negative beliefs that cause distress. By activating both hemispheres of the brain, people become desensitized by the trauma so they can feel like themselves again

If you're having difficulty starting tasks, accomplishing goals, and feeling lost without a plan Acceptance and Commitment Therapy can help. ACT allows us to identify what it is we want out of life, the obstacles that are standing in our way, and how to overcome those obstacles.

​​Sometimes we get stuck in our own negative thoughts, which ultimately impacts our behaviour. CBT allows us to explore and tackle cognitive distortions, develop coping strategies to tackle anxious thoughts, and implement positive behavioural changes.

If you are having a hard time managing difficult emotions and relationships, DBT may be for you. DBT focuses on teaching individuals skills to manage their emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop coping strategies. DBT teaches individuals to lead a more mindful and healthy life without feeling like the world is against them.

Motivational Interviewing 

 

Motivational Interviewing allows individuals explore and resolve ambivalence towards change. MI recognizes that change is difficult, and it is normal to have mixed feelings about change. MI allows people to explore their goals, clarify their motivations, and identify obstacles that may be holding them back.

Gottman Method

Gottman Method is a research based approach that helps couples strengthen their relationship. The method uses practical tools to help couples break unhelpful patterns, understand each other's needs, and help reduce conflict. Whether it's broken trust, non stop arguments, or a lack of communication, Gottman Method is aimed to help reduce this issues, and help you and your loved one feel more supported.
